It is a plumbing joke.

The same could be said for sanity, as we all do insane things such as smoke or other dangerous or unhealthy activities that might be considered suicidal. If we do more sane things than insane things we are called sane.

The world is insane to start off with, all the things wrong going on, yet we continue. What else can we do?

This reminds me of the water (lake) pollution story, the straw that broke the camels back, the tipping point of a balance pushed over.

“A lake, for example, can absorb a fair amount of phosphorus from fertilizer runoff without any sign of change. “You add a little, not much happens,” says Shahid Naeem of Columbia University.

“Add a little more, not much happens. Add a little more… then, all of sudden, and — boom! — phytoplankton bloom, oxygen depletion, fish die-off, smelliness. Remove the little phosphorus that caused the tipping of the system, and it does not reverse. In fact, you have to go back to much cleaner water than you would have imagined.”

Imagine phosphorus being analogues to crazy, and adding crazy to ones life intentionally of accidentally.

Then one day a person has a nervous breakdown from all the craziness, and it takes “much cleaner water” to get back to sanity.

I think people who are “mentally ill” should be out in the country to recover their sanity, where there is a less amount of pollution and stress on the mind-brain.

I found it very humourous as I do many of the things he lists here on my blog, and so I was considering for a moment…

Is the blog like a resume? In a way it is, as I’m showing what I think of and what I believe.

I didn’t even think I was in the game.

If I had a child and he/she asked me how stupid people are, I’d tell him to look around, and the famous quote “There’s a sucker born every minute”.

Looks like a great price eh?

What if something goes wrong?
You get your $490.00 per eye back right?

You can got to the store and buy a new eyeball for your damaged one right?
No? You can’t buy a new eyeball?
So what happens then?

That is just the obvious thing wrong about the advert, the seriously thing wrong about it is that the Company put the price in their advertisement.

They spent lots and lots of money to sell their low price.
People who have money ( the people who paid for the advert), do not throw it away on stupid things, if they did spend it foolishly they wouldn’t have any money.
So this means this advertisement works to get people interested in getting the laser eye surgery.
Which means people are very foolish about gifts God gave to them that are irreplaceable by man. People ARE stupid.

How to make a monchrome photo

A monochrome picture or photo is one that has only black and white and no shades of grey.

They are easy to make on a computer.

here we go

First you need a color image . The first image was of a frog. The second of a woman.

You open the Windows program called “Paint” and stick your image in it.

2)Next you convert it to bitmap, by saving it as a (dot) .bmp [do not type the word "dot"]

There shouldn’t be any problems so far.

3) Open the photo bmp again in a new window of the program Windows Paint.

When you save it this time again as a bmp, you will change the type of bmp to 256k bmp.  Change it in the drop-down menu options you can see, when you save a bitmap into your computer.

When you attempt to save it the computer will warn you, your image will lose quality, so before saving it be sure you change the name , change the name to “photo 256.bmp” for example.

4) Then do this again but change the bitmap to 16 k

5) Then do it again in only black and white AKA monochrome.

And you get some cool looking images.

If you want to put them on the internet, you again have to convert the image, sorry.

Convert it to a (dot).PNG type of file so wordpress or blogger whatever can find/see the file on your computer.

Aesop’s Fables : The Gardener and his Dog pg13

The Gardener was drawing water at the well to water his garden plants.
His little dog was jumping and barking on the well curb until he lost his balance and fell in.

Hearing the splash, the gardener quickly drew off his cloths and descended into the well to rescue his dog.
Just as he was bringing the struggling and slippery animal to the top, the ungrateful wretch bit his master’s hand.

“Why, you little monster,” exclaimed the gardener. “If that is your idea of gratitude to a master who feeds you and pets you and treats you kindly, then pull yourself out of the well.”

With that he dropped the dog right back into the well again.

MORAL: Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

Relates to psychiatry obviously as I on welfare depend on the psychiatric diagnosis of sever mental illness for food and rent money, and should not bite/complain.

T. Szasz had a different take on this . I wrote of it years ago. Paraphrasing what he wrote , in order to become free, the slave has to bite the hand that feeds it , to be released (free).

But I can not find a job and doubt I could cook and keep my apartment clean etcetera while holding down a job. So all I have is criticism. My criticism must be constructive for the better living of all psychiatric patients and not just insulting nonsense with no solutions to real problems.

If I had a job such as washing dishes, after three months of work I would jump in the river to end my suffering.
If you chose the river to end it, before the jump stand for 30 seconds in the cold water, and see what your senses say to you. You might change your mind if you want a second opinion on jumping or not.

Second Interpretation : Logical mind and the Emotional mind

If the Man in the story represents the logical mind and the dog represents the emotional mind, both are as one, then the desire-point of the story is for wisdom to rule emotion.
Wizards 3rd rule is “passion rules reason”, so to control your emotions in life is difficult.
If you do throw away your logicless emotions, throw em down the well, all you have left is the stones at the top and they aren’t much company.

This morning I woke up to snow, snow that looks like its sticking, sticking as in not melting on contact with the ground.

Make love and not war, the Peace symbol.

What is another phrase for make love? Sexual intercourse.

I don’t know when, but some time long ago, it was told to me that the symbol is a penis at the bottom entering between two legs, inside of a circle . A visual “make love not war”.

This opinion of what the symbol represents is nowhere to be found on a google search to my surprise.

This naivety reminds me of the dolphins of love.

I left a comment over at http://willspirit.com/ Will’s blog.

And figured it would be forgotten.

Then I just posted an angry post today. (Edit:Update: I wrote an angry post after reading a comment on CBC about how the mentally ill should be in jail just for being mentally ill.)

I go back to Will’s blog now and find he has linked back to me and remarked on my comment.

Egg on my face for my angry post, so I put it on private view.

The comment I wrote on Wills blog was

“re: will “One of the hardest tasks is to see life clearly”. The question is the glass half empty or half full? Do you want the glass to be full or empty? Who do you serve ?”

Will responded

“My agenda of late has been to see the glass neither as half full, nor half empty, but rather as containing 50% of its potential volume.”

So Will is trying not to desire. But it is inherit to dream or wish, so I don’t know about that plan of not deciding.

There are multiple perspectives on the 50% cup empty-full.

1)If one wants water in the cup, it is optimistic to say it is almost half full, and filling.

2)If one does not want water in the cup, it again is optimistic to wish the cup is half empty, and emptying.

3)If one does not want water in the cup, it is pessimistic to call it almost half full, and filling up.

4)If one wants water in the cup, it again is pessimistic to say the cup is half full, but it is going empty.

Science would try to see the cups status unbiased, but man is an animal with feelings that fluctuate over time from his/her environment. Feelings of hunger or full, sleepy or awake for example. Feelings are good, as it is bad to be a (sad) machine, in my opinion. Feelings are bad if they rule your wisdom, your ability to make rational decisions of course.

I have to change the 50% cup into a boat with a hole in it, while in the middle of a lake. Are you going to die or live? Do you want to die or live?

1)If one wants water in the boat (suicidal), it is optimistic? to say it is almost half full, and filling.(you will die)

2)If one does not want water in the boat, it is optimistic to wish the boat is half empty, and emptying.

3)If one does not want water in the boat, it is pessimistic to call it almost half full, and filling up.

4)If one wants water in the boat (suicidal), it is pessimistic? to say the boat is half full, but it is going empty ( you will live).

(edit:Update: Everybody has a metaphorical boat and the boat has a hole in it, as in we all know we are growing old and going to die one day.)

(edit:update 2: The boat IS filling but there is nothing you or I can do. Might as well enjoy what time left on the lake.)
